New Zealand Warriors have proven their premiership credentials after maintaining their unbeaten record in Australia this season with their first ever win at ANZ Stadium against the Broncos. The Warriors, despite an error riddled opening 10 minutes, stood toe-to-toe with their arch-nemeses and after an armwrestling opening 55 minutes pulled away. Battling a side with 9 Origin players battling leg weary bodies, the Warriors ground their opponents down and put them away with three quick tries in 7 minutes midway through the second half. Brisbane rallied once more but it was too little too late, the Warriors sealing victory with a try to Clinton Toopi in the final minute to move into second place behind the Bulldogs.
