Plathy is a true character within the Broncos. Any other player of his talent would've left the Broncos long ago for a chance at a regular starting spot, but Plathy's devotion to the club he joined from the start after switching from Rugby Union has seen him become a well respected member of the club.
Plathy was the original super sub, starting the trend of utility players that's flooding the game. Plath has the ability to play anywhere on the park, and does so with the same enthusiasm regardless.
A crucial member of the 1990 Reserve Grade premiership, Plath, along with Steve Renouf, are the only remaining Broncos to have taken part in all five successful Grand Final victories by the club.
Plath's off field exploits may be curbed following his engagement to Broncos cheerleaders coordinator Nicole Sinclair...but don't bet on it!
