Time for introductions......

Well a new season is upon us, and with the rapid growth of Rugby League and the constant stream of new fans to the forums ( www.broncoshq.com ) I have taken it upon myself to tell you what I think of the team who run this wonderful place.

Now this year I plan to call it like I see it, tell it how it is, because I believe the fans are so sick of red tape and politics that they just want the truth straight up. So what better way to start the year than with a handful of people I have met a few times, but over the years have become close too.

So let the trial begin. Ummm who to start with.......(reaches into a hat). Char Ching:

Rocky:
Well where do I start......Has a season pass to the Roosters...... helps out on the Saint George site......his Girlfriend isn't even a Broncos supporter...... mixed loyalties, NAHHHH a love of Rugby League more like it. This guy gets involved in more conversations than I could point a stick at, has an opinion about everything that doesn't concern him, and to top it all off lives in Sydney. But if I was asked if there was anything I could change about him the answer would be, Nothing...."well I would pin back his"...because controversy is hard to come by, and well the THE ROCK just reeks of it. ; )
Oh and all the cool sigs you see at
www.broncoshq.com, most of them Rocky is responsible for, in fact the whole forum and the way it is set out is all done by him in his spare time free of charge. And that earns massive brownie points with all of us.

Politically Correct:(aka:- PC):
Ahhhh our mysterious residential female administrator. Mysterious I hear you say, well out of everyone here bar Rocky and Mad Dogg she is the only one I have not met yet. Rocky and MD have good reasons: they live over 9 hrs away from me. Where as PC is just down the road. Hmmmm what is she hiding........ nothing actually, she wears her heart on her sleeve and is not afraid to mix it with the boys, and holds more than her own when it comes to debating. Wanna know why we call her Politically Correct, hang around the forums long enough and you will soon find out. And be warned now she is our resident Avatar and Signature nazi, if they end up too long or too wide, expect a private message from her.

mick!:
mick! is our budding Journo in training, part time musician (I know he would love more time doing that) and full time dedicated fan. He is pretty much the opposite of me when it comes to opinions on politics, death and religion and well I love it. In short, he's a short, David Beckham hair wearing, freaky music listening Garden Gnome (my wife nickname for him.) And the thing I love about mick! is that he is an individual, he follows his own path, he's no Indian that's for sure. So if you need any info on music, the Goth scene, styles of writing or the ins and outs of most political parties, he is your man.

Mad Dogg:
To be completely honest with you I really do not know MD as well as the others, and there is no real reason for it. The guy is a champion, pulls his weight in the Admin duties, makes me laugh on occasion and has a tendancy to change his name or the name of other Admins without telling them. So if you see a Mad Dogg, Mad Duck or a Toilet Duck running amuck, its all the same person, he just goes through some changes now and then. And he also gets my vote for best sig.

GCBRONCO:
GC as he is know around here is one of the more passionate Admins we have, if he is jacked at someone he'll just tell it how he sees it. He demands loyalty from our team, and expects the players to show respect not only to themselves, but to us, the fans. His insight into the game amazes me and if I'm trolling the forums and see a post by him, you can guarantee it will be one of the first I read. Just don't tell him I told you his dad looks like Santa.

Jebadude:
Ahhhh finally I get to my mate Jebba. You see me and Jeb spend a bit of time together every year at the footy, his season ticket seat is right beside mine. So not only do we get to tell each other a yarn or two, we also get to scream our lungs out and run amuck. Jeb and I are the reason why Channel 9 no longer show certain camera angles at the footy. Especially the ones of people kicking for goal. Jebba's from the country where men are men and sheep are nervous and like GC if he has a problem with anyone, he will just tell it like it is. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
And just for the record making big eared monkey faces at the camera while Mick De Vere kicks was funny, and not only did we get our mugs on the box, but a slap on the back of my head from my mum. She saw it and said we looked like two idiots. Mission successful.

Coxy:
Well what can I say about Coxy, the guy is a star in my book, without him this place would not exist, and a few of the opportunities I have been given in my life come from the fact that this man took it upon himself to create this place. 9 years of dedication, that has brought you, the fans, this great site, that has created friendships, memories and served as the number 1 place to come for all your Bronco needs. Over the past few years Chris and I have forged a friendship based on trust and trust alone. We never see eye to eye on basically anything outside football, and this site. And for that I am grateful. Because if we all agreed on everything, how boring would this place become.

And last but not least I would like to welcome our newest member to the group, Bosko. Now I don't know what's happening with Bosko, as in if he is becoming an Admin or just a writer for the site. But his knowledge of the game, its structure and general game play is an asset to any website. And I am glad he will be doing his thing here. I've become friends with Bosko and Mrs Bosko over the year and as people they are hard to fault, his Mrs is beautiful, the guy does all the cooking at home, he throws a mean Footy party and the guy just carves up on a footy field.

As you can see, we here at BroncoNet and BroncosHQ are all totally different people from all types of backgrounds. All our personalities are different, and if we had met each other on different terms you could guarantee that the feathers would be flying. But it's the common interest that we all share that has brought us together. Rugby League is not only the true game of the people, but it's a game that brings people together. And seriously how boring would it be if we only had Yawnion?

Peace, Love and Mung beans.
