The brother-in-law of former Test and Queensland State of Origin forward, Steve Price, is one of the brightest prospects to have emerged from the Broncos stable. A powerful centre, with an uncanny ability to break the line and offload, Tate has been a phenomenal performer for Toowoomba Clydesdales in the Bundy Gold Cup.
After attracting plenty of interest from other clubs as his contract came up for review, Tate re-signed with the Broncos for a further 12 months. He was instantly rewarded for that loyalty with a first grade debut against Melbourne Storm in Round 21.
