Scott Prince has come to the Broncos with high expectations. Born and bred in Mt Isa, Prince was earmarked by the Broncos at a very early age as a star of the future. However, the North Queensland Cowboys got in first, and Prince played his first 48 first grade games there.
A highly gifted five-eighth, Prince has been signed by the Broncos to replace departing captain Kevin Walters at halfback.
Scott's talent has been shown by his junior representative career, which includes Australian Touch Under 15s in 1995, North Queensland Under-13 in 1993, and being chosen in the 1998 and 1999 Junior Kangaroos.
He's an exciting prospect, and one to watch in 2001.
