Darren Mapp has shown a lot of promise in Broncos' lower grade sides in the past three years. In the same breed as Shaun Berrigan, Mapp has a lot of pace for a second rower and has been compared with Darren Smith, who starred for the Broncos in the second row and centres between 1995-98. He came within a whisker of a first grade debut in 1999, and maintained form for Toowoomba will see that day come sooner rather than later.
