Harvey Howard is one of Wayne Bennett's most astute buys for the club. A former Great Britain international, Howard is a traditional prop forward, a tireless worker with a good offload and an even better attitude.
An able replacement for the tireless Andrew Gee, Howard will be a valuable foil for Shane Webcke and Petero Civoniceva in 2000 and he will almost certainly find himself starting at prop this season.
A likable, funny man, Howard will also bring some much needed light heartedness to the club that was lost when Allan Langer - the game's ultimate cheeky little devil - left last season.
A shining light in a struggling club at Western Suburbs, Howard has the potential to become a champion in a champion team.
