Justin Hodges holds the record of the youngest first grade starter for the Broncos, making his debut shy of his 18th birthday in Round 14 against the Raiders. Hodges earnt praise all around for his composed performance, preventing a rampaging Brandon Costin from scoring in the corner with a copybook cover tackle.
Hodges scored tries against Melbourne and the Sharks in a solid debut stint of five games during the Origin period. With Sailor, Tuqiri and Chris Walker ahead of him in the pecking order on the wings, Hodges will be working hard to break through to the wing in 2001.
