This young man has created a first for the Broncos by being selected to play NRL while still at school. Having joined the Broncos from Sydney during the summer, Leon has decided to return to school - The Gap High School - doing just four subjects, enabling him to combine his studies and his new profession. An Australian Rugby Union schoolboy winger in 2003 and 2004, he turned down offers from three Super 12 teams and the Sydney Roosters to join the Broncos, the team he has followed since Lote Tuqiri was a star. A genuine speedster - 10.80 for the 100 metres - coach Wayne Bennett says young Leon is the fastest man over 40 metres at the Broncos in the club's 18 year history.
