When Glenn Lazarus left the club at the end of 1997, many felt the Broncos would be under strength in the front row. Enter Andrew Gee who stepped up to a his highest level.

Gee is not the flashiest of players in the game, but he's one of the most consistent and dependable. A tireless worker, Gee is always there when the Broncos need him most.

An unhappy run with representative teams has seen his time for Queensland and Australia few and far between. A broken jaw curtailed his Origin career in 1993, but his form for the Broncos has been exemplary, evidenced by his 200 plus Broncos games.

Gee Gee joins Warrington for season 2000, ending a wonderful career with the Brisbane Broncos. His final year was one of his best, captaining the club in the absence of Kevin Walters and leading the forward pack to their revival.

With 215 games for the Broncos and 10 years good service, he will be missed. Good luck Gee Gee!
