One of the most exciting signings in recent memory for the Broncos. Motu Tony is one of the game's genuine excitement machines, and anyone who watched him perform for the Warriors in the 2003 finals knows what to expect.
Incredibly quick on his feet, Tony can play a myriad of positions, from fullback, to five-eighth to hooker.
After signing a one-year deal with the Broncos, Tony scored a double against Parramatta early in the season but suffered a knee injury as a result. He returned for just one more first grade game before accepting an offer to play in England. The Broncos, with several youngsters standing up and proving their ability to handle the game at this level, granted Tony a release to enable him to secure his financial future for his family.
Motu Tony enjoyed his time at the club, and had circumstances been different would have been a long term valued member of the club.
