Ikin Ruled Out

Broncos five-eighth, Ben Ikin, has been ruled out of tomorrow's blockbuster with the New Zealand Warriors with a shoulder injury.  Ikin suffered the injury during the latter stages of last week's 32-24 win over the North Queensland Cowboys.

Brett Seymour takes his place at five-eighth, opening the door for talented young backrower Neale Wyatt to make his first appearance for 2003 off the bench.

Ikin, who has had a devastating 2-year absence with consecutive knee reconstructions, was extremely disappointed to miss a game just four matches into his comeback, but Broncos training staff did not want him to risk more serious injury.
